This place has a really unique ambience. Really nice sunset views from the rooftop. The people there were very welcoming, inviting, and served us with a smile on their face. Everything you ordered was prepared really well. It’s a rare treat to have a place that uses peri peri spice, but Mozambique made the most of it!
We got the opportunity of having Kent as our server on Friday afternoon and it made the biggest difference. We had the South African pot pie that I fell in love with. It had mushrooms and usually my friend hates mushrooms, but it was seasoned so well they were hardly noticed.
My husband and I just had the most marvelous and memorable dinner at Mozambique, and we would recommend it to anyone! We had the two person seafood platter and it blew us away! We absolutely cleaned our plates. I’m writing this in a pleasant food coma.
Getting married at Mozambique
Two things make the tour worth the drive. First, see the ceremony spot at the exact time of day you'd say your vows — a west-facing beach glows at sunset but bakes at noon, and you'll want to feel the wind, watch where the sun sits, and walk the path your guests take across the sand. Second, bring your real questions: the weather backup (where does the ceremony move if it rains or the wind kicks up?), who pulls the beach permit, the sound-ordinance curfew, the catering and bar policy, and exactly what's included — chairs, setup, and teardown on sand are where quotes quietly diverge. Peak beach dates book 12–18 months out, so if the tour feels right, ask what's open in your season before you leave.
