We recently had our wedding weekend at New Park and booked all 7 suites. I wasn’t someone who initially wanted a big wedding but, we knew New park was right for us the minute we saw it. It was truly the wedding of our dreams!! Our guests were blown away by the beauty that is Newpark both in and out of the suites.
We got married at New Park about 4 months ago, and it was absolutely magical! The scenery was breathtaking—exactly what I envisioned for my “backyard, but not a backyard” wedding. Multiple guests even said it was the favorite wedding they’d ever attended!
My husband and I got married at New Park at the end of September and it was so beautiful. The venue is naturally stunning, and the rooms are wonderful. We rented it out for the whole weekend and had our wedding party and family stay on site. We were able to have all of our events around the wedding there as well.
If you’re looking for a venue in Ithaca that actually lets you have the wedding you want, New Park is it. We had our wedding there in October 2025 with 120 guests, and honestly, it was a dream. We worked with the owner Sara. She knew exactly what she was doing every step of the way and made the process easy.
Getting married at New Park Event Venue
Two things make the tour worth the drive. First, see the ceremony spot at the exact time of day you'd say your vows — a west-facing beach glows at sunset but bakes at noon, and you'll want to feel the wind, watch where the sun sits, and walk the path your guests take across the sand. Second, bring your real questions: the weather backup (where does the ceremony move if it rains or the wind kicks up?), who pulls the beach permit, the sound-ordinance curfew, the catering and bar policy, and exactly what's included — chairs, setup, and teardown on sand are where quotes quietly diverge. Peak beach dates book 12–18 months out, so if the tour feels right, ask what's open in your season before you leave.
