This is one of my favorite places. THE COVE This is a nice peaceful beach. Great for beach combing agates and the occasional arrowhead. It is unfortunate that the residents feel that they are so intitled to make it private to only residents. I have been coming to this beach for over 40 years.
Have been there several time. Weddings and most recently, memorials for family members. I believe the Cove, is operated by the members of Normandy Park Association. To use the facility one must be or know someone who belongs. Not at all sure what it costs. I do know, it's a beautiful place to visit.
This is a very nice authentic venue for special events in Normandy Park. Interestingly, only certain residents of the City of Normandy Park are eligible to reserve this space, as a precondition to the other bylaws this facility may have.
Great location if you are a resident or you know one. Private property. The one grill isn't in great shape, so plan to cook using a fire pit, or cook your food ahead of time. Lots of exploring to do here. The play structure could use some updating.
