This was a BEAUTIFUL event ❤️ 😍 to have attended. People/ Humans need to come together and learn about other cultures and backgrounds, instead of being stuck in what they BELIEVE they know and have learned from T.V. ( Bias shows and movies) This event showed that poetry is an ADDITIONAL avenue to learn such things.
Northern Center is a multiple function location, including the cosmetology department. The pictures below are a few on Vetrans Day where the department was honoring us veterans 🎖. There was cake, popcorn, juices, cupcakes, Etc.... The young students do a decent job of learning their new crafts.
Big, clean, new - was here for a wedding reception. Multiple areas allowed for a good flow from cocktail hour to reception/dinner. Bathrooms stocked with emergency goodies. A giant digital photo of the bride and groom greeted at the entry which was a nice touch!
We went there for a wedding reception. Decent ballroom and good food. Can't say much more as we were confirmed to the ballroom.
Getting married at Northern Center
Two things make the tour worth the drive. First, see the ceremony spot at the exact time of day you'd say your vows — a west-facing beach glows at sunset but bakes at noon, and you'll want to feel the wind, watch where the sun sits, and walk the path your guests take across the sand. Second, bring your real questions: the weather backup (where does the ceremony move if it rains or the wind kicks up?), who pulls the beach permit, the sound-ordinance curfew, the catering and bar policy, and exactly what's included — chairs, setup, and teardown on sand are where quotes quietly diverge. Peak beach dates book 12–18 months out, so if the tour feels right, ask what's open in your season before you leave.
