It was a very short walk to the beach. The inside was clean, well furnished and well stocked in the kitchen. It was disappointing that there was no hot tub, but that's okay as there was a jetted tub in the bedroom upstairs.. It's proximity to the ocean and all the great little towns in South county was perfect.
Very nice staff , room studio was perfect for what we needed, quiet on our side no ocean view for us, but 1 block away perfect, beach pass included perfect. Parking a little snug but it is summer. This was the 1st time in the summer, usually in the winter we come up. Great experience, will be back.
The first week in June is a great week to visit. It's fun and there are people around, but it's not crazy crowded yet. And it's not hot enough to the point that it's not even fun to be outside. The Ocean club is close to the beach and has some nice rooms with great views of the ocean and surrounding area!
Getting married at Ocean Club-Atlantic Beach
Two things make the tour worth the drive. First, see the ceremony spot at the exact time of day you'd say your vows — a west-facing beach glows at sunset but bakes at noon, and you'll want to feel the wind, watch where the sun sits, and walk the path your guests take across the sand. Second, bring your real questions: the weather backup (where does the ceremony move if it rains or the wind kicks up?), who pulls the beach permit, the sound-ordinance curfew, the catering and bar policy, and exactly what's included — chairs, setup, and teardown on sand are where quotes quietly diverge. Peak beach dates book 12–18 months out, so if the tour feels right, ask what's open in your season before you leave.
