From the reviews
Great experience playing the Ocean Course. Obviously the course is top notch, currently rated #3 public in the country. Conditions amazing and good strong design. Low country doesn’t lead to many options for elevation change but good rolling fairways and green complexes. Service was great, even for the price.
I thought I died and went to heaven. The course is amazing and the greens are spectacular.. as well as the views. Jasper our caddy was a gentleman and had a great deal of knowledge about the course and area.. I would have Jasper caddy again for me!
Our party tried the restaurant in the clubhouse. We had an excellent table out on the patio which was a picture perfect setting. The service was excellent and so was the food. I ordered the fish and chips. The fish was delicious!
Great course with challenging greens. The is real friendly and the caddies are great. Expect some wind because you right on the beach. It's definitely should be on your bucket list.
Getting married at Ocean Course Clubhouse
Two things make the tour worth the drive. First, see the ceremony spot at the exact time of day you'd say your vows — a west-facing beach glows at sunset but bakes at noon, and you'll want to feel the wind, watch where the sun sits, and walk the path your guests take across the sand. Second, bring your real questions: the weather backup (where does the ceremony move if it rains or the wind kicks up?), who pulls the beach permit, the sound-ordinance curfew, the catering and bar policy, and exactly what's included — chairs, setup, and teardown on sand are where quotes quietly diverge. Peak beach dates book 12–18 months out, so if the tour feels right, ask what's open in your season before you leave.
