Clean convenient especially off-season they do have restrooms however the parking leaves much to be desired but the homes are so close it’s really not a long walk from where your staying to go right out to the public beach.
We arrived around 9 AM and there was hardly anyone on the beach, which was nice. The public parking is very limited so we were lucky to get a great spot so close to the beach. It was low tide so we were able to get a comfortable spot on a hill overlooking the ocean.
You come down south, you go to the beach. It's that simple. Each beach is its own environment. There's a fair amount of seashells at this beach, so walking is interesting lol.
It is a nice location to park and go for beach walks. Just sad that they added parking fee to the beach. I hope they use that money for the beach and upgrades.
Getting married at Ocean Isle Beach Community Center
Two things make the tour worth the drive. First, see the ceremony spot at the exact time of day you'd say your vows — a west-facing beach glows at sunset but bakes at noon, and you'll want to feel the wind, watch where the sun sits, and walk the path your guests take across the sand. Second, bring your real questions: the weather backup (where does the ceremony move if it rains or the wind kicks up?), who pulls the beach permit, the sound-ordinance curfew, the catering and bar policy, and exactly what's included — chairs, setup, and teardown on sand are where quotes quietly diverge. Peak beach dates book 12–18 months out, so if the tour feels right, ask what's open in your season before you leave.
