My husband I got married at The Winds on May 18, 2014, and everything was supremely beautiful! Mel and Darlene helped us plan, order and coordinate from afar, and every last detail was just as we wanted.
The exqusite view will capture you! The staff will make you want to plan your next trip before you even leave! We stopped by for only a couple of days on our way through the area. Everyone went out of their way to accommodate our special parking needs. Everything went off without a hitch.
This is our first night here the Mariners building at the Winds. The room has two full beds and is very small. There is a wet bar, bath vanity and shower tub. The room is very clean and inviting in spite of the size. It is well decorated and appears to be freshly painted.

Getting married at The Winds Resort Beach Club
Two things make the tour worth the drive. First, see the ceremony spot at the exact time of day you'd say your vows — a west-facing beach glows at sunset but bakes at noon, and you'll want to feel the wind, watch where the sun sits, and walk the path your guests take across the sand. Second, bring your real questions: the weather backup (where does the ceremony move if it rains or the wind kicks up?), who pulls the beach permit, the sound-ordinance curfew, the catering and bar policy, and exactly what's included — chairs, setup, and teardown on sand are where quotes quietly diverge. Peak beach dates book 12–18 months out, so if the tour feels right, ask what's open in your season before you leave.
