Ocean Reef is absolutely gorgeous! I recently stayed here as a guest and not only was the weather beautiful, the amenities were well maintained. The staff were all friendly and accommodating.. Mark at the valet was awesome and always had a smile on his face.
We were invited here by a Veteran Organization, and we absolutely loved it. It is filled with amazing amenities and the staff was very helpful. It was a once in a lifetime experience for us and one We will never forget. Thanks to Ocean Reef and everyone who made it possible.
Every time we drive through the gate at Ocean Reef, I immediately feel a sense of calm and peacefulness. There is so much to do or you can choose to do nothing at all but relax. Restaurants are beautiful and food is always delicious. We love everything about this place!
We just completed our stay at Ocean Reef Club. Pros: Excellent food and service. Beautiful grounds. Well kept. Cons: Some laziness from the amenities staff. Chip was in charge of kayaks. Perfect weather. Told us at 2:30 PM, “Ocean is closed. No kayaks.” What?
Getting married at Ocean Reef Club
Two things make the tour worth the drive. First, see the ceremony spot at the exact time of day you'd say your vows — a west-facing beach glows at sunset but bakes at noon, and you'll want to feel the wind, watch where the sun sits, and walk the path your guests take across the sand. Second, bring your real questions: the weather backup (where does the ceremony move if it rains or the wind kicks up?), who pulls the beach permit, the sound-ordinance curfew, the catering and bar policy, and exactly what's included — chairs, setup, and teardown on sand are where quotes quietly diverge. Peak beach dates book 12–18 months out, so if the tour feels right, ask what's open in your season before you leave.
