The view of the ocean is absolutely incredible!! Every room has this view. I was expecting it to be super expensive but it was very affordable for the amenities you get. I traveled with my friend, and wanted 2 queen beds. We got them and there was even a partial wall that separated us which was nice for privacy.
The rooms all face the ocean. Really nice walking path in front of hotel. The two beds in the room were very separate which was nice. Rooms are spacious. Needs are comfortable. Everything seemed clean. It's a mile walk to a decent dinner but an easy drive to great food.
Rooms are very clean. Office personnel were very friendly and polite. Just ask and you got it. Stayed upstairs with spa, the view of the ocean is outstanding. You have a balcony to watch the waves. So beautiful. The beach is about 400 yds down the path.
Awesome experience! Best hotel we’ve had with a view. What makes our experience wonderful is the view and quiet atmosphere that this place has provided. Not a lot of tourists and people are walking around so we got to enjoy the view of the beach to ourselves— watching the sunrise and sunset.
Getting married at Ocean View Lodge
Two things make the tour worth the drive. First, see the ceremony spot at the exact time of day you'd say your vows — a west-facing beach glows at sunset but bakes at noon, and you'll want to feel the wind, watch where the sun sits, and walk the path your guests take across the sand. Second, bring your real questions: the weather backup (where does the ceremony move if it rains or the wind kicks up?), who pulls the beach permit, the sound-ordinance curfew, the catering and bar policy, and exactly what's included — chairs, setup, and teardown on sand are where quotes quietly diverge. Peak beach dates book 12–18 months out, so if the tour feels right, ask what's open in your season before you leave.
