From the reviews
Wonderful location. Wonderful staff. Really nice property with many options. We pretty much spent the week on the property as there was plenty of variety there to not go else where. We did venture out twice to go else where, but there was no need to. The bars, restaurants, and service at everything was top notch.
We recently stayed 3 nights in this beautiful hotel and could not have been more impressed. Room was beautifully decorated and beds comfortable. The view was amazing...every room has a beach view. It's right next to the beach and easy walking distance to sunset and tikki bar cruise (we did both).
We couldn’t have picked a better hotel. From the beautiful ocean views on the balcony, to the food at seaguini and the outdoor tiki bar/restaurant, clean and luxurious rooms, the classy feeling of sitting poolside on a lounge chair with drink and towel service, we truly had the best time and experience.
First time for us at an Opal Property, and we could not have been more pleased. The scale of the property, restaurant/food quality and service pool side all through our stay was terrific. We are "particular" travelers and this exceeded our expectations on all fronts.
Getting married at Opal Sands Resort & Spa
Two things make the tour worth the drive. First, see the ceremony spot at the exact time of day you'd say your vows — a west-facing beach glows at sunset but bakes at noon, and you'll want to feel the wind, watch where the sun sits, and walk the path your guests take across the sand. Second, bring your real questions: the weather backup (where does the ceremony move if it rains or the wind kicks up?), who pulls the beach permit, the sound-ordinance curfew, the catering and bar policy, and exactly what's included — chairs, setup, and teardown on sand are where quotes quietly diverge. Peak beach dates book 12–18 months out, so if the tour feels right, ask what's open in your season before you leave.
