Just got married at Shephards on 5/16/26 and was treated with the most respect and kindness the entirety of our trip. We stayed 11 days and felt like royalty the entire time. The onsight amenities were great, close by and useful! The food was delicious at all of the bars and especially for our wedding reception.
We attended a wedding at Shephard’s Beach and it was spectacular! We worked closely with Teah, the Wedding Coordinator, and she was outstanding!! The wedding was perfect and everything went smoothly. We’re very impressed with this resort and will be vacationing here again in the future! 👏
I just had my wedding at Shephard’s last Wednesday. The ceremony was out on beach and the reception was in the wave ballroom and our brunch the following day was out doors in the tiki pavilion. It was beyond beautiful and perfect. The activities available and entertainment on the property was also amazing.
Teah, Austin and Hayley made our wedding day the most amazing celebration! From the moment we walked in the door we were greeted with the utmost respect, almost as if we were royalty. Everyone was incredibly welcoming and the actual day was without any hiccups.
Getting married at Shephard's Beach Resort
Two things make the tour worth the drive. First, see the ceremony spot at the exact time of day you'd say your vows — a west-facing beach glows at sunset but bakes at noon, and you'll want to feel the wind, watch where the sun sits, and walk the path your guests take across the sand. Second, bring your real questions: the weather backup (where does the ceremony move if it rains or the wind kicks up?), who pulls the beach permit, the sound-ordinance curfew, the catering and bar policy, and exactly what's included — chairs, setup, and teardown on sand are where quotes quietly diverge. Peak beach dates book 12–18 months out, so if the tour feels right, ask what's open in your season before you leave.
