From the reviews
My husband and I got married at the Owenego in May and it was a dream come true. Pat, John, Meg and their entire team were the most incredible venue hosts, and kept the day running so smoothly (even when things with outside vendors went sideways - they were there to save the day).
My now wife and I just got married at the Owenego last Saturday. Our guests could not stop raving about the food and staff. It was absolutely fantastic and it could not have been better. The best part of having our wedding at The O was the staff. They were extremely courteous to all of our guests and especially us.
Just had my wedding here and it was the most spectacular venue I could have ever imagined. Getting married on the lawn over looking the water was like a dream. John, Pat, Jane, And the whole crew came together to make sure every detail was planned and launched to perfection!!
My husband and I had our wedding at the Owenego a few weeks ago, and couldn't have been happier with that decision. The term "hidden gem" doesn't even do it justice, slice of heaven is more appropriate! John and Pat were a blessing as we tried to figure out what to do when COVID hit.
Getting married at Owenego Inn
Two things make the tour worth the drive. First, see the ceremony spot at the exact time of day you'd say your vows — a west-facing beach glows at sunset but bakes at noon, and you'll want to feel the wind, watch where the sun sits, and walk the path your guests take across the sand. Second, bring your real questions: the weather backup (where does the ceremony move if it rains or the wind kicks up?), who pulls the beach permit, the sound-ordinance curfew, the catering and bar policy, and exactly what's included — chairs, setup, and teardown on sand are where quotes quietly diverge. Peak beach dates book 12–18 months out, so if the tour feels right, ask what's open in your season before you leave.
