We had our wedding here In the morning the views are breathtaking. The house is well kept and the staff is very helpful. If you are looking for a wedding venue or a place to hold a very special event this would surely be one of my picks.
This was a wonderful location for my friends wedding! The decor was Colonial and added to the charm of the venue!
This is such a beautiful wedding venue, either for an indoor or outdoor event! The manor house itself is gorgeous inside but the gardens are impeccable. Everything is so green and expertly manicured, and there are so many beautiful flowers. The outdoor white tent is well-maintained as well.
This is a beautiful venue. Gorgeous landscaping, gardens, fountains, hardwood floors and more trees in the backdrop than you can count. This is nestled in between the MGM and National harbor so you can see the ferris wheel in the distance if you stand in the right place. Staff was wonderful and helpful.
Getting married at Oxon Hill Manor Historic Site
Two things make the tour worth the drive. First, see the ceremony spot at the exact time of day you'd say your vows — a west-facing beach glows at sunset but bakes at noon, and you'll want to feel the wind, watch where the sun sits, and walk the path your guests take across the sand. Second, bring your real questions: the weather backup (where does the ceremony move if it rains or the wind kicks up?), who pulls the beach permit, the sound-ordinance curfew, the catering and bar policy, and exactly what's included — chairs, setup, and teardown on sand are where quotes quietly diverge. Peak beach dates book 12–18 months out, so if the tour feels right, ask what's open in your season before you leave.
