From the reviews
We were here for a weekend in October for my brother's wedding which was held right here on the beach. It was such a beautiful setting for a wedding. The cabin we stayed in was cozy and cute. It had two bedrooms and full bath with a well appointed kitchenette.
We stayed here this past Memorial Day, and had a great time! We were four separate families renting four cabins. The place is well maintained with friendly staff! We enjoyed early mornings on the beach, quick getaways to nearby national parks and bonfires with wood provided by the resort.
Friend & I stayed one night. Then had reservation at another hotel that turned out bad. Called Paradise and the owner Lou gave us back our same room for our remaining stay! 3 nights total. We were elated! This place is quaint, nostalgic, friendly and laid back.
My family and I have been coming up here for 4 years now, and have reservations already booked for next year. Lou, Lindsey, and their staff are always extremely kind and quick to help if you need anything during your stay. The grounds are always kept and the private beach is one of the best in that resort strip.
Getting married at Paradise Beach Resort
Two things make the tour worth the drive. First, see the ceremony spot at the exact time of day you'd say your vows — a west-facing beach glows at sunset but bakes at noon, and you'll want to feel the wind, watch where the sun sits, and walk the path your guests take across the sand. Second, bring your real questions: the weather backup (where does the ceremony move if it rains or the wind kicks up?), who pulls the beach permit, the sound-ordinance curfew, the catering and bar policy, and exactly what's included — chairs, setup, and teardown on sand are where quotes quietly diverge. Peak beach dates book 12–18 months out, so if the tour feels right, ask what's open in your season before you leave.
