I had my wedding here on July 31, 2020. It was PERFECT, obviously anyone could say that about their own wedding day, but mine wasn’t just because of the marriage. This venue was a DREAM. Pictures do not do this place justice, if you’re considering this place, just book a tour, you will love it.
Choosing Pickett Place as our venue was by far the BEST wedding decision my husband and I made! It’s the most beautiful place, and it truly felt like home for the 2 days we had it rented out. However, I’m mainly leaving this review so that I can brag on Kelly!!!!
I don’t even know where to start, Tracy the owner was so communicative. kelly, her helper also was amazing. I had my wedding on a saturday, we last minute also rented out friday. Being able to rent through them for decor, flooring, dj, bar, etc was such a seamless easy experience.
We had our wedding here in May 2022. It was absolutely beautiful. Tracy the owner was always just a text or phone call away when needing to know literally anything about the venue and every little detail. Her husband was also our DJ and was the best! He play anything we asked and our guests enjoyed it!
Getting married at Pickett Place
Two things make the tour worth the drive. First, see the ceremony spot at the exact time of day you'd say your vows — a west-facing beach glows at sunset but bakes at noon, and you'll want to feel the wind, watch where the sun sits, and walk the path your guests take across the sand. Second, bring your real questions: the weather backup (where does the ceremony move if it rains or the wind kicks up?), who pulls the beach permit, the sound-ordinance curfew, the catering and bar policy, and exactly what's included — chairs, setup, and teardown on sand are where quotes quietly diverge. Peak beach dates book 12–18 months out, so if the tour feels right, ask what's open in your season before you leave.
