We held my granddaughter's wedding here and this venue is fantastic!! I would wholeheartedly reccomend Sweetwater Depot to anyone looking for a perfect place and perfect people to handle your event! I am completely a d thoroughly satisfied with the service, the people and the surroundings.
My Daughters Wedding at Sweetwater Depot was the Fairytale Wedding she had always dreamed of. The Venue is historic, quaint and so romantic! Every detail of our weekend, including rehearsal dinner, wedding and reception was perfection.
Lou Anne and her husband were amazing!! We hosted our wedding here and it was absolutely beautiful!! She helped setup, fluffed my dress for me and even brought us our food and drinks!! We had an amazing experience here and I am so glad we used Sweetwater Depot!!🩵🩵

Getting married at Sweetwater Depot
Two things make the tour worth the drive. First, see the ceremony spot at the exact time of day you'd say your vows — a west-facing beach glows at sunset but bakes at noon, and you'll want to feel the wind, watch where the sun sits, and walk the path your guests take across the sand. Second, bring your real questions: the weather backup (where does the ceremony move if it rains or the wind kicks up?), who pulls the beach permit, the sound-ordinance curfew, the catering and bar policy, and exactly what's included — chairs, setup, and teardown on sand are where quotes quietly diverge. Peak beach dates book 12–18 months out, so if the tour feels right, ask what's open in your season before you leave.
