We love Poinsettia Pavilion! My first experience at this beautiful establishment was over 20 years ago when we needed a location for my sister's memorial. They were very kind and accommodating and we held a beautiful celebration in her honor.
Awesome place I grew up doing country dances with homeschool groups at this place! They also do weddings and other events! Definitely support them awesome place beautiful Victorian style and a wonderful view of the islands!
Easy to locate venue location. Good sized auditorium, capacity 350 conference and approx 325 for dining. Lots of parking way in the back though.. so try to come early for your event to secure the easy and closer parking.
One of the best views in the city! Great venue. Upgrades to features are slowly taking place and are really making the place look great. A little difficult to get to, but great event venue for the nighttime skyline view.
Getting married at Poinsettia Pavilion
Two things make the tour worth the drive. First, see the ceremony spot at the exact time of day you'd say your vows — a west-facing beach glows at sunset but bakes at noon, and you'll want to feel the wind, watch where the sun sits, and walk the path your guests take across the sand. Second, bring your real questions: the weather backup (where does the ceremony move if it rains or the wind kicks up?), who pulls the beach permit, the sound-ordinance curfew, the catering and bar policy, and exactly what's included — chairs, setup, and teardown on sand are where quotes quietly diverge. Peak beach dates book 12–18 months out, so if the tour feels right, ask what's open in your season before you leave.
