From the reviews
Point of View is a beautiful center for events overlooking Belmont Bay. The building evokes sensations of air, light, and space. The center has a beautiful lobby, a comprehensive library, tall windows overlooking the bay, and an ADA-compliant layout that allows easy access to serene outdoor views.
We have held two annual conferences at POV Retreat, one of them spanning 2 days. Attendees loved the beautiful locale, the venue offered people the space to have smaller meetings in separate rooms, coordination with the event managers was smooth, and it was overall a great experience. Highly recommend it.
As a consulting firm that facilitates Stakeholder Alignment Sessions for complex construction projects, the environment we choose can make or break the day. We’ve hosted several half-day and full-day sessions at Point of View, and it has consistently exceeded our expectations. The setting is its greatest asset.
We had the pleasure of hosting a training and fundraising session at Point of View Retreat Center this past fall, and it was an outstanding experience from start to finish. The setting is both beautiful and highly conducive to meaningful conversation and learning.
Getting married at Point of View, George Mason University
Two things make the tour worth the drive. First, see the ceremony spot at the exact time of day you'd say your vows — a west-facing beach glows at sunset but bakes at noon, and you'll want to feel the wind, watch where the sun sits, and walk the path your guests take across the sand. Second, bring your real questions: the weather backup (where does the ceremony move if it rains or the wind kicks up?), who pulls the beach permit, the sound-ordinance curfew, the catering and bar policy, and exactly what's included — chairs, setup, and teardown on sand are where quotes quietly diverge. Peak beach dates book 12–18 months out, so if the tour feels right, ask what's open in your season before you leave.
