My wife and I had our wedding ceremony at the Portland Masonic in the Armory room. The ornate and historical architecture made for a great venue. Nicki, the coordinator, was great to work with and was instrumental in making sure our ceremony went as planned.

This was definitely an A+ event! It exceeded our expectations considerably, the performers were great, the atmosphere was exceptional, and the cocktails were delicious! I cannot recommend this show highly enough! It's a must see if you like Edgar Allen Poe

Attended the Edgar Allen Poe Speakeasy. The venue is stunning and offered a gorgeous backdrop for the event! The actors and all involved put on an outstanding show from start to finish! Just fantastic! I am so very grateful to all!

I went here for EqMaine's Halloween party and it is a great venue! High, ornate ceilings, cozy little nooks to place a VIP bar and DJ. A chic manually operated elevator. Having an event here feels grand and unique.

Getting married at Portland Masonic Temple

Two things make the tour worth the drive. First, see the ceremony spot at the exact time of day you'd say your vows — a west-facing beach glows at sunset but bakes at noon, and you'll want to feel the wind, watch where the sun sits, and walk the path your guests take across the sand. Second, bring your real questions: the weather backup (where does the ceremony move if it rains or the wind kicks up?), who pulls the beach permit, the sound-ordinance curfew, the catering and bar policy, and exactly what's included — chairs, setup, and teardown on sand are where quotes quietly diverge. Peak beach dates book 12–18 months out, so if the tour feels right, ask what's open in your season before you leave.
