From the reviews
I recently got married at Mariner's Church. It was a great spot and Carrie was helpful throughout the planning process. It is a spacious, affordable option, and such a gem to find in the middle of the Old Port. My guests kept saying they didn't know the space existed and really loved it.
We had our wedding reception here, and it was absolutely perfect! I could not say enough good things about Carrie, the event coordinator. She worked with all of our vendors to ensure things went smoothly and went above and beyond to make our wedding weekend as special as possible.
We had a wedding at the space. The staff did a great job rearranging from ceremony to reception, and made set-up and clear-out easy. Food was great, bar staff was fun, Carrie was so helpful through the whole planning process through to the event.
We've held two events at Mariners Church, and they've been outstanding both times. Great food, great staff, great service, and a great venue--right in the Old Port. I recommend it!

Two things make the tour worth the drive. First, see the ceremony spot at the exact time of day you'd say your vows — a west-facing beach glows at sunset but bakes at noon, and you'll want to feel the wind, watch where the sun sits, and walk the path your guests take across the sand. Second, bring your real questions: the weather backup (where does the ceremony move if it rains or the wind kicks up?), who pulls the beach permit, the sound-ordinance curfew, the catering and bar policy, and exactly what's included — chairs, setup, and teardown on sand are where quotes quietly diverge. Peak beach dates book 12–18 months out, so if the tour feels right, ask what's open in your season before you leave.
