Got married here last Friday and it was the best decision we could have made! This is coming from someone who had looked at nearly 30 wedding venues all over New England- yet we kept coming back to Regatta as our favorite.
Book this venue if you want to have the best day of your life. We cannot say enough good things about Regatta Place and the staff there. Maggie is one of the most incredible people I've ever met and Caitlin and Jess are PHENOMENAL.
We booked the regatta place after touring it via FaceTime and not seeing it in person. We did not know what to expect, and we were absolutely blown away. Regatta place is the most unique, beautiful, and special venue ever! The sailboats passing by all night and the gorgeous view of Newport was so special.

Getting married at Regatta Place
Two things make the tour worth the drive. First, see the ceremony spot at the exact time of day you'd say your vows — a west-facing beach glows at sunset but bakes at noon, and you'll want to feel the wind, watch where the sun sits, and walk the path your guests take across the sand. Second, bring your real questions: the weather backup (where does the ceremony move if it rains or the wind kicks up?), who pulls the beach permit, the sound-ordinance curfew, the catering and bar policy, and exactly what's included — chairs, setup, and teardown on sand are where quotes quietly diverge. Peak beach dates book 12–18 months out, so if the tour feels right, ask what's open in your season before you leave.
