From the reviews
I recently visited Regent Hotel to attend one of their wellness events, and it was an incredible experience. The property itself is absolutely beautiful, with a relaxing atmosphere and exceptional attention to detail that made the event feel even more special. One of the highlights was the TractFit fitness classes.
The best hotel experience I’ve ever had in LA! This property is the real deal. They thought of every detail when designing Regent and I was blown away by every aspect of the hotel- rooms, service, food. The entry level room is so spacious (720 sq ft) and it felt very homey and luxurious.
Stayed in 2 bed suite with wife and 4 kids. Spacious room. Amazing view. Amazing staff (big shout to Mario at the pool bar and the whole team at the door!). Used the eBikes to ride down to Venice Beach. Really loved the atmosphere and the staff were all super accommodating and friendly.
We didn’t stay here. We had 4 hours to kill after staying at the intercontinental downtown and decided to come the sister hotel. Beautiful lobby and location but the best part was Fernando at the front door. He welcomed us, helped us with our bags, gave us advice and generally was outstanding.
Getting married at Regent Santa Monica Beach
Two things make the tour worth the drive. First, see the ceremony spot at the exact time of day you'd say your vows — a west-facing beach glows at sunset but bakes at noon, and you'll want to feel the wind, watch where the sun sits, and walk the path your guests take across the sand. Second, bring your real questions: the weather backup (where does the ceremony move if it rains or the wind kicks up?), who pulls the beach permit, the sound-ordinance curfew, the catering and bar policy, and exactly what's included — chairs, setup, and teardown on sand are where quotes quietly diverge. Peak beach dates book 12–18 months out, so if the tour feels right, ask what's open in your season before you leave.
