From the reviews
This lodge far exceeded our expectations. The owner, Kendall was very friendly and welcoming. His staff were all friendly and helpful, too. This is the most beautiful lodge in Seward. We really enjoyed staying at this lodge.
My wife and I stayed here in late May to enjoy Seward in the Spring. We absolutely loved it! The view was beautiful, staff was friendly, and room was very comfortable. The lodge sits just enough South of Seward to be private and serene, yet is close enough to let you spend evenings around town.
This place has the best view in Seward . The owner is there full-time and makes sure everything is perfect. Everybody there is accommodating the places spotless inside and out.
Getting married at Resurrection Lodge on the Bay
Two things make the tour worth the drive. First, see the ceremony spot at the exact time of day you'd say your vows — a west-facing beach glows at sunset but bakes at noon, and you'll want to feel the wind, watch where the sun sits, and walk the path your guests take across the sand. Second, bring your real questions: the weather backup (where does the ceremony move if it rains or the wind kicks up?), who pulls the beach permit, the sound-ordinance curfew, the catering and bar policy, and exactly what's included — chairs, setup, and teardown on sand are where quotes quietly diverge. Peak beach dates book 12–18 months out, so if the tour feels right, ask what's open in your season before you leave.
