Bed was comfy, nights were quiet wooden stairs down to the beach are pretty nice. We were on third floor. Lots of steps, but worth the gorgeous view of the ocean! We stayed in the family condo. There were 2 adults and 3 kids, ages 16, 12 and 6. It is as described. We had 2 bathrooms which was nice.
Balcony on the beach, large room with little kitch (beware only cook top, no oven) micro, med size frig, dishes, pots pans etc. toaster, coffee pot, utinsils. Comfy beds except for the bar on the sofa bed, our kiddo slept sideways.
You can’t beat this location and view. Directly on the beach, small property, tucked away from the main area. Rooms are being updated and I look forward to going back when they are all renovated. Parking is limited by accessible. Stairs only at this property. Staff was extremely helpful, kind, and attentive.
First time staying here. Great location, great price, great amenities including indoor pool, hot tub, and dry sauna. Parking is a bit tight. Only stairs on opposite ends of building to upper levels. Nice to have chairs on the balconies.
Getting married at Rockaway Beach Resort and Conference Center
Two things make the tour worth the drive. First, see the ceremony spot at the exact time of day you'd say your vows — a west-facing beach glows at sunset but bakes at noon, and you'll want to feel the wind, watch where the sun sits, and walk the path your guests take across the sand. Second, bring your real questions: the weather backup (where does the ceremony move if it rains or the wind kicks up?), who pulls the beach permit, the sound-ordinance curfew, the catering and bar policy, and exactly what's included — chairs, setup, and teardown on sand are where quotes quietly diverge. Peak beach dates book 12–18 months out, so if the tour feels right, ask what's open in your season before you leave.
