From the reviews
Attended a wedding here. Event facility with several rooms in different buildings. 2 large barns serve as halls, outdoor stage in a natural ampitheater with extraordinary views of Cobscook Bay, quirky, campy, whimsical decor which defies genre. Bald eagles soaring overhead and beautiful sunset.
My husband and I stayed at the Seabreeze cottage Sept 8-13. It was so amazing. We didn't even need to leave our place because the beach and surroundings were enough to keep us entertained. We saw seals every day swimming near our place. We saw an eagle perched on the small island that was visible from our back porch.
Wow! What an awesome place. My wife and I came up toMaine from Texas to stay at Ross's place for our honeymoon. It was perfect. The cabins are very "cabiney", sorry I couldn't think of a better word. You could spend a whole day just looking at all the art work on the walls and details throughout.
We stayed in one of the farm houses at Rossport by the sea while in town to perform at the eastport pirate festival. The house was amazing,! Especially for a house that was as old as it is. Very well kept and clean.
Getting married at Rossport by the Sea Lodging, Retreat and Farm
Two things make the tour worth the drive. First, see the ceremony spot at the exact time of day you'd say your vows — a west-facing beach glows at sunset but bakes at noon, and you'll want to feel the wind, watch where the sun sits, and walk the path your guests take across the sand. Second, bring your real questions: the weather backup (where does the ceremony move if it rains or the wind kicks up?), who pulls the beach permit, the sound-ordinance curfew, the catering and bar policy, and exactly what's included — chairs, setup, and teardown on sand are where quotes quietly diverge. Peak beach dates book 12–18 months out, so if the tour feels right, ask what's open in your season before you leave.
