What a great place! The cottages are beautiful and located in a lovely, peaceful forest setting. Bed was super comfortable and there’s a bathtub and shower. Lovely amenities, including nice products in the bath, snacks in the kitchen, and ingenious single coffee packets to make a pour through.
Such a great cottage. We were 6 ladies and there were 3 full baths and 1 half bath. Perfect because we were here for a wedding and getting ready was not a problem. Had a great view to unwind to when we arrived. The kitchen is well stocked with all that you need to prepare meals.
My two night stay in the ‘Moose Cabin’ was perfect. The cabin was very ’gezellig’ (Dutch for cozy). Of course it was very well appointed, clean and super comfortable. I gladly would’ve stayed a bit longer.
I stayed at the Rockledge camp site with my 2 dogs. I was blown away by the beauty of the location, it was nicer than I could have ever wished for. The sites were right on the waterfront, peaceful and serene. You could watch the loons in the bay. The site was very clean and easily accessible for any size camper.
Getting married at West Branch Farms
Two things make the tour worth the drive. First, see the ceremony spot at the exact time of day you'd say your vows — a west-facing beach glows at sunset but bakes at noon, and you'll want to feel the wind, watch where the sun sits, and walk the path your guests take across the sand. Second, bring your real questions: the weather backup (where does the ceremony move if it rains or the wind kicks up?), who pulls the beach permit, the sound-ordinance curfew, the catering and bar policy, and exactly what's included — chairs, setup, and teardown on sand are where quotes quietly diverge. Peak beach dates book 12–18 months out, so if the tour feels right, ask what's open in your season before you leave.
