I don't even know where to start! Saltwater Farm was a dream. We got married there in July, and it was truly wonderful. The location, the attention to detail, cleanliness, the staff, the views, the thoughtful touches etc. Everything was spot on. The whole property seems to flow perfectly from one space to the next.
We got married here in late May and could not have asked for a more stunning wedding venue. Although we had originally booked Saltwater Farm after only a virtual tour due to the pandemic, it truly exceeded all of our expectations.
We got married at Saltwater Farm in August, and it was the most perfect event! After touring the venue in 2019, we knew that we’d found our venue immediately. Since then, Saltwater has continued to build out the venue which made it even more wonderful.
My husband and I got married here at this beautiful venue this past summer. The venue is very helpful in having preferred vendors listed/available to review which is handy since this felt more so like a destination wedding for us and our guests, so planning wise it was extremely helpful to utilize vendors the venue…
Getting married at Saltwater Farm at Friday Harbor
Two things make the tour worth the drive. First, see the ceremony spot at the exact time of day you'd say your vows — a west-facing beach glows at sunset but bakes at noon, and you'll want to feel the wind, watch where the sun sits, and walk the path your guests take across the sand. Second, bring your real questions: the weather backup (where does the ceremony move if it rains or the wind kicks up?), who pulls the beach permit, the sound-ordinance curfew, the catering and bar policy, and exactly what's included — chairs, setup, and teardown on sand are where quotes quietly diverge. Peak beach dates book 12–18 months out, so if the tour feels right, ask what's open in your season before you leave.
