Just had my wedding here. The coordinators are extremely communicative and available for any questions. The guards up front were extremely welcoming and all of our guests made it into the park on time. The venue is extremely gorgeous and our guests all loved it.
Attended a wedding here and it was a great location, hidden away in a campground right by the beach. The views were gorgeous! Some things to note is that there is very limited parking and wedding had to be finished by 10pm. No hotels truly walking distance (in heels!) but this spot as a wedding venue was gorgeous!
Perfect place for a wedding! This venue is located in our home town of san clemente and weddings there are just amazing! The beach is just a few steps away from this breathtaking cottage. The ocean can been seen from the ceremony site. It is a great location for a wedding!!
We have done multiple events at this venue and it's always a beautiful setup. Very versatile outside area for dining, dancing, and of course the photo booth. Lots of parking and the best views!
Getting married at San Clemente Historic Cottage
Two things make the tour worth the drive. First, see the ceremony spot at the exact time of day you'd say your vows — a west-facing beach glows at sunset but bakes at noon, and you'll want to feel the wind, watch where the sun sits, and walk the path your guests take across the sand. Second, bring your real questions: the weather backup (where does the ceremony move if it rains or the wind kicks up?), who pulls the beach permit, the sound-ordinance curfew, the catering and bar policy, and exactly what's included — chairs, setup, and teardown on sand are where quotes quietly diverge. Peak beach dates book 12–18 months out, so if the tour feels right, ask what's open in your season before you leave.
