Great hidden gem for trip. Sand pebbles was fairly priced and an excellent location for food and drinks! Every morning we walked to coffee and easily found about 4 within a mile or so. A mile or so the other way gets the beach so win win. Shout out to barefoot and naked cafe they were our favorites.
The grounds are beautifully landscaped with unique and exotic tropical plants, a lush fountain area with a tumbling waterfall, assorted palm trees and giant bird of paradise plants. The pool and spa area has chaise lounges , patio dining tables with chairs, umbrellas and two gas-fired BBQ grills.
Spacious accommodations and easy and quick beach access! Although there are stairs as this is a cliff coastal area! Absolutely beautiful beach, pool and hot tub are well maintained and comfortable, great longer chairs and grilling space. We will definitely be back!
Very nice and conveniently located timeshare resort. Just a couple of blocks from beautiful Solana Beach with eateries, public trails and parks, and shopping nearby. It's also within walking distance of the Del Mar Fairgrounds. Really enjoyed my time there!
Getting married at Sand Pebbles Resort
Two things make the tour worth the drive. First, see the ceremony spot at the exact time of day you'd say your vows — a west-facing beach glows at sunset but bakes at noon, and you'll want to feel the wind, watch where the sun sits, and walk the path your guests take across the sand. Second, bring your real questions: the weather backup (where does the ceremony move if it rains or the wind kicks up?), who pulls the beach permit, the sound-ordinance curfew, the catering and bar policy, and exactly what's included — chairs, setup, and teardown on sand are where quotes quietly diverge. Peak beach dates book 12–18 months out, so if the tour feels right, ask what's open in your season before you leave.
