We had a lovely quick trip down. Our evening was perfect. It was just to short Matt, our server was friendly, informative, & efficient The nachos, calamari & flatbread hit the spot. Presented well, fresh, & sure was tasty The Miami virgin cocktail was so enjoyed by my son.
We went here for lunch on a Saturday afternoon with friends. It wasn't very busy and we were seated right away. The interior looks like it's been redone and was quite nice. It's right on the water so the view is terrific. We had the shrimp flatbread ($19) and the red snapper catch of the day ($38).
We had an amazing experience with helpful staff, knowledgeable recommendations that took food allergies into consideration. The view on the sand was perfect and there was a fun atmosphere right at sunset. 😎 I will be sure to come back when I’m in the area again.
Absolutely one of the best restaurants on Anna Maria Island! Food was outstanding (order the seabass!), service excellent and ambience incredible...sunset dining oceanside. It doesn't get better than this. You'll have a wait, but its well worth it!
Getting married at Sandbar Seafood + Spirits
Two things make the tour worth the drive. First, see the ceremony spot at the exact time of day you'd say your vows — a west-facing beach glows at sunset but bakes at noon, and you'll want to feel the wind, watch where the sun sits, and walk the path your guests take across the sand. Second, bring your real questions: the weather backup (where does the ceremony move if it rains or the wind kicks up?), who pulls the beach permit, the sound-ordinance curfew, the catering and bar policy, and exactly what's included — chairs, setup, and teardown on sand are where quotes quietly diverge. Peak beach dates book 12–18 months out, so if the tour feels right, ask what's open in your season before you leave.
