The location of this hotel is right on the beach with easy ocean access and great shelling. That said… I now have a newfound respect for people who live in apartments full time because apparently I am not built for hearing every conversation, every footstep, and what sounded like an upstairs herd of elephants several…
Pretty much perfect. Great shower, TV is bigger than you'd ever need (I think it was 55") with 60 Comcast cable channels. Plenty of towels, the rooms smell good, air conditioning is very effective, on site laundry, and comfy beds.
Highly recommend looking into spending your next vacation or long weekend at the Sanibel Island Beach Resort. We been there several times over the past 10 years. We just celebrated our 40th anniversary with our family and the staff made sure that we were well accommodated!
Clean. On the beach. Staff awesome. Pool clean. Awesome location close to restaurants, shops. Definitely will be back. So so nice had a great relaxing time. Slept great. Room and bed comfortable. It is perfect place to relax enjoy fresh air, ocean and sunshine.
Getting married at Sanibel Island Beach Resort
Two things make the tour worth the drive. First, see the ceremony spot at the exact time of day you'd say your vows — a west-facing beach glows at sunset but bakes at noon, and you'll want to feel the wind, watch where the sun sits, and walk the path your guests take across the sand. Second, bring your real questions: the weather backup (where does the ceremony move if it rains or the wind kicks up?), who pulls the beach permit, the sound-ordinance curfew, the catering and bar policy, and exactly what's included — chairs, setup, and teardown on sand are where quotes quietly diverge. Peak beach dates book 12–18 months out, so if the tour feels right, ask what's open in your season before you leave.
