Everyone loves a sunset. If you're looking for amazing sunsets chart a course heading to Scituate Harbor. Grab a seat at a local restaurant, head over to the Lighthouse, or find a spot at the Harbor Gazebo to watch as the sun sets over the Harbor. Plus warm salty wind in your hair and sand on your toes.
Spectacular location,well maintained and great views of the harbor. Be aware that , although there is a beach across the street, this site does not have beach access, and the inhabitants of said beach do not hesitate to enforce their property rights.
Awesome place to hold a small 20-50 person event. Beautiful view of the harbor and sunsets.
Getting married at Scituate Maritime Center

First, see the ceremony spot at the exact time of day you'd say your vows — a west-facing beach glows at sunset but bakes at noon, and you'll want to feel the wind, watch where the sun sits, and walk the path your guests take across the sand. Second, bring your real questions: the weather backup (where does the ceremony move if it rains or the wind kicks up?), who pulls the beach permit, the sound-ordinance curfew, the catering and bar policy, and exactly what's included — chairs, setup, and teardown on sand are where quotes quietly diverge. Peak beach dates book 12–18 months out, so if the tour feels right, ask what's open in your season before you leave.
