My husband and I just returned from a stay at this lovely inn. It was very clean and very well run. The staff is very friendly. There is always hot coffee and tea in the lobby which was very welcome in this cold blustery weekend. We had such a nice corner room on the second floor with a great view of the lighthouse.
This small inn has a superb location at one end of the 5-6 block Front Street-- easy walk to multiple restaurants/bars, shops and docks that are across the street. Facing ENE many rooms overlook the harbor, lighthouse, sunrises and sunset reflected glow. Rooms are very clean and large; recently updated.
We really enjoyed our stay here. Impressed with the cleanliness, excellent staff and rooms. The lobby was pristine and really focused on safety. Also had a great view and the gardens there are gorgeous, the patio is lovely. Excellent location with ample parking as well. Will certainly stay again!

Getting married at The Inn at Scituate Harbor
Two things make the tour worth the drive. First, see the ceremony spot at the exact time of day you'd say your vows — a west-facing beach glows at sunset but bakes at noon, and you'll want to feel the wind, watch where the sun sits, and walk the path your guests take across the sand. Second, bring your real questions: the weather backup (where does the ceremony move if it rains or the wind kicks up?), who pulls the beach permit, the sound-ordinance curfew, the catering and bar policy, and exactly what's included — chairs, setup, and teardown on sand are where quotes quietly diverge. Peak beach dates book 12–18 months out, so if the tour feels right, ask what's open in your season before you leave.
