I was asked to look up a dog friendly place to stay after offering to remove Ivy from the trees on a friends lot after seeing the pictures. This place feels like a warm hug from an old friend you haven't seen for a long time, very peaceful relaxing atmosphere just arriving here, you can feel the love of decades past.
We first came here about 25 years ago, and we keep coming back. The current owners are very nice, and they seem to welcome all people. Dogs are welcome too. There are about 8 cottages surrounding a central grassy area with picnic tables.
I had a very nice peaceful 2 nights. Everyone is very nice and helpful. I walked to the beach with my dog. Gave her a paw wash before entering my cottage. Read a book and watched a movie. Just did nothing but relax, slept in later than usual in the comfy bed.
These quaint, cozy and clean cottages are just a 5 min walk through a grove of trees and the dune grass from the ocean. The property itself has a sacred, healing vibe.

Two things make the tour worth the drive. First, see the ceremony spot at the exact time of day you'd say your vows — a west-facing beach glows at sunset but bakes at noon, and you'll want to feel the wind, watch where the sun sits, and walk the path your guests take across the sand. Second, bring your real questions: the weather backup (where does the ceremony move if it rains or the wind kicks up?), who pulls the beach permit, the sound-ordinance curfew, the catering and bar policy, and exactly what's included — chairs, setup, and teardown on sand are where quotes quietly diverge. Peak beach dates book 12–18 months out, so if the tour feels right, ask what's open in your season before you leave.
