My April wedding was held at the Shelter Harbor Inn, Erin was wonderful to work with! All other staff members were very helpful and accommodating too. The setting was beautiful, a cozy and intimate venue with unique, stylish decor.
Shelter Harbor Inn met all our expectations! Breathtaking historic home and property.. Beautifully designed rooms..wonderful service, food and drinks! We woke up each day to a cozy fire going in the stunning fireplace from 1800. A short walk to an incredible Salt Pond that sits at the end of the neighborhood!
The Shelter Harbor Inn is full of warmth and charm, with all the modern conveniences! We found the staff very friendly, accommodating and professional. The setting is pretty, within walking distance to water views and amongst historical homes in this former musical colony. You'll instantly relax!
Getting married at Shelter Harbor Inn

First, see the ceremony spot at the exact time of day you'd say your vows — a west-facing beach glows at sunset but bakes at noon, and you'll want to feel the wind, watch where the sun sits, and walk the path your guests take across the sand. Second, bring your real questions: the weather backup (where does the ceremony move if it rains or the wind kicks up?), who pulls the beach permit, the sound-ordinance curfew, the catering and bar policy, and exactly what's included — chairs, setup, and teardown on sand are where quotes quietly diverge. Peak beach dates book 12–18 months out, so if the tour feels right, ask what's open in your season before you leave.
