Shorewood Country Club provided an awesome venue for my daughter's wedding. The Appetizers, Filet Mignon, Salmon and Chicken dinners were prepared and served as requested and tasted amazing. The staff was fantastic to the guests throughout the night.
If you’re looking for a private club that offers flexibility and a laid-back feel, Shorewood is a great option. The membership numbers are low enough that you can get out without booking a tee time. The cost is very reasonable compared to other private clubs, and the location couldn’t be better.
What a hidden gem. A million dollar view. Very romantic place to host a wedding. By far one of the best venues late front properties in New York. Just need a little touch on the food amenities. Which bring this property and service to another level. Definitely will recommend this place.
Getting married at Shorewood Country Club
Two things make the tour worth the drive. First, see the ceremony spot at the exact time of day you'd say your vows — a west-facing beach glows at sunset but bakes at noon, and you'll want to feel the wind, watch where the sun sits, and walk the path your guests take across the sand. Second, bring your real questions: the weather backup (where does the ceremony move if it rains or the wind kicks up?), who pulls the beach permit, the sound-ordinance curfew, the catering and bar policy, and exactly what's included — chairs, setup, and teardown on sand are where quotes quietly diverge. Peak beach dates book 12–18 months out, so if the tour feels right, ask what's open in your season before you leave.
