From the reviews
Amazing hotel right on the waterfront. Location was a bit far from Downtown Tacoma, but it was so worth it. Amazing room, friendly and courteous staff, and the ambiance is just so relaxing.
My boyfriend and I stayed here June of last year and we had a wonderful romantic and memorable trip. We got a room with the jacuzzi tub overlooking the water, which we still talk about how much we enjoyed. The hotel is very clean, accommodating and on the higher-end scale.
I’ve stayed at Silver Cloud Hotel and it’s always a great experience. The rooms are very clean, modern, and well maintained, which makes the stay feel comfortable right away. My favorite part is the Jacuzzi ocean view rooms—absolutely worth it.
This place is just simply nice. Everything was clean in every way. The views are all great. Pool and hot tub are on the 5th floor. There are multiple dining options within walking distance and even a movie theater. I think im coming back in December.
Getting married at Silver Cloud Hotel Tacoma at Point Ruston Waterfront
Two things make the tour worth the drive. First, see the ceremony spot at the exact time of day you'd say your vows — a west-facing beach glows at sunset but bakes at noon, and you'll want to feel the wind, watch where the sun sits, and walk the path your guests take across the sand. Second, bring your real questions: the weather backup (where does the ceremony move if it rains or the wind kicks up?), who pulls the beach permit, the sound-ordinance curfew, the catering and bar policy, and exactly what's included — chairs, setup, and teardown on sand are where quotes quietly diverge. Peak beach dates book 12–18 months out, so if the tour feels right, ask what's open in your season before you leave.
