From the reviews
We ended up going to Debbie and her team at The Ruston Chapel because of canceling our original location due to COVID. From the moment I met Debbie, I was sooo impressed by her warmth. She took lots of notes and really got her arms around what I liked and was looking for.
My husband and I had our wedding here at The Ruston Chapel. We had a beautiful wedding that we will always cherish and remember. Debbie made our special day so special. She paid attention to every detail and made my bouquet and the boutonniers for us too.
Debbie single-handedly made our wedding the most special day of our lives. We opted for the ceremony-only package and placed our complete trust in her expertise—and she absolutely delivered.
We had a June wedding at the Ruston Chapel this year. Debbie and her team made our day very special and intimate with our small wedding ceremony with our 6 kids. She helped blend our families with a sand ceremony and it was very sweet.
Getting married at The Ruston Chapel
Two things make the tour worth the drive. First, see the ceremony spot at the exact time of day you'd say your vows — a west-facing beach glows at sunset but bakes at noon, and you'll want to feel the wind, watch where the sun sits, and walk the path your guests take across the sand. Second, bring your real questions: the weather backup (where does the ceremony move if it rains or the wind kicks up?), who pulls the beach permit, the sound-ordinance curfew, the catering and bar policy, and exactly what's included — chairs, setup, and teardown on sand are where quotes quietly diverge. Peak beach dates book 12–18 months out, so if the tour feels right, ask what's open in your season before you leave.
