From the reviews
We were traveling to the redwoods for our anniversary and stopped here as a last minute as we were tired of driving. What a fantastic idea that turned out to be! My only sadness was that we didn’t stay two nights or more! It was the highlight of our trip.
This place. I almost don’t want to leave a review because I selfishly want to keep it our little secret, but it’s too special not to share. We celebrated our 15-year wedding anniversary here for the first time last August, and we’ve already been back since. That alone says everything.
Silver Cypress Resort is a gem! It was recommended to us by a friend and we are so happy we stayed and we know we will be going back. The resort is nestled in the beautiful peaceful outskirts of Gold Beach perched atop majestic Nesika Beach.
Just finished an INCREDIBLE 2 night stay in the Whale. Watching the sun go down with such an incredible view from the hot tub 2 nights in a row was truly spectacular. So much so that I used my phone to do a more basic time lapse the first evening, then set up a more elaborate time lapse the next.
Getting married at Silver Cypress Resort
Two things make the tour worth the drive. First, see the ceremony spot at the exact time of day you'd say your vows — a west-facing beach glows at sunset but bakes at noon, and you'll want to feel the wind, watch where the sun sits, and walk the path your guests take across the sand. Second, bring your real questions: the weather backup (where does the ceremony move if it rains or the wind kicks up?), who pulls the beach permit, the sound-ordinance curfew, the catering and bar policy, and exactly what's included — chairs, setup, and teardown on sand are where quotes quietly diverge. Peak beach dates book 12–18 months out, so if the tour feels right, ask what's open in your season before you leave.
