Came here to use the trailhead for a hike down to the tide pools. Park in the parking lot, go down past the goats until you get to a random sign with a long store pointing to the right.
We hosted our Wine Club party at their newly built Farm to Table kitchen center. We had 70 people at the event and it did not feel too crowded. Everyone commented on how great it was to be able to walk around and explore the property and the beach and tide poo.s.
Absolutely loved hosting my yoga retreat at Slide Ranch. From start to finish, the staff were incredibly helpful—responsive, informative, and genuinely supportive in making the event smooth and special. The space was spotless, beautifully maintained, and even more breathtaking in person.
Wonderful and fun place to walk around and learn new things! My family and I walked to Slide Ranch from the Muir Beach view point parking lot, it was about 1 mile each way. Lots of animals, including goats, ducks, and chickens.
Getting married at Slide Ranch
Two things make the tour worth the drive. First, see the ceremony spot at the exact time of day you'd say your vows — a west-facing beach glows at sunset but bakes at noon, and you'll want to feel the wind, watch where the sun sits, and walk the path your guests take across the sand. Second, bring your real questions: the weather backup (where does the ceremony move if it rains or the wind kicks up?), who pulls the beach permit, the sound-ordinance curfew, the catering and bar policy, and exactly what's included — chairs, setup, and teardown on sand are where quotes quietly diverge. Peak beach dates book 12–18 months out, so if the tour feels right, ask what's open in your season before you leave.
