From the reviews
Our family had a great time we got there around 1:00 in the afternoon we're able to find a nice spot on the beach. The water was good it was nice and warm the only thing that I don't care for is all the rocks so if you're going to swim make sure you wear water shoes because the rocks and shells are plentiful.
This venue is located ON THE BEACH! Music on the stage, ice cold beverages at the bar and a very friendly and efficient staff make this a must visit all summer long. Kudos to Illio Dipaolo staff and management for their outstanding management and service!
We went to Solé at Woodlawn Beach for the first time, and It was an overall good time. When arriving, there is someone in a booth that charges you to park, which was $7. The parking lot was decent size and Nicely paved but very crowded.
Love this natural walking and strolling beach with the windmills in the distance. We love collecting rocks and taking pictures there. Collecting sticks, driftwood, and seashells there plus trying to find new items that may have washed ashore. Always good to sit or lay around for a while.
Getting married at Solé Sand Bar at Woodlawn Beach
Two things make the tour worth the drive. First, see the ceremony spot at the exact time of day you'd say your vows — a west-facing beach glows at sunset but bakes at noon, and you'll want to feel the wind, watch where the sun sits, and walk the path your guests take across the sand. Second, bring your real questions: the weather backup (where does the ceremony move if it rains or the wind kicks up?), who pulls the beach permit, the sound-ordinance curfew, the catering and bar policy, and exactly what's included — chairs, setup, and teardown on sand are where quotes quietly diverge. Peak beach dates book 12–18 months out, so if the tour feels right, ask what's open in your season before you leave.
