We had a fantastic experience here. The location is amazing as we easily walked to restaurants and bars and the Redondo pier. Very friendly staff and super nice and comfortable beds. The bar/bar food restaurant is quite functional, albeit not fancy.
During our company sales kickoff at Sonesta Redondo Beach & Marina, I unexpectedly cracked a tooth. Maria Elena Castillo del Muro, Chief Concierge, handled the situation with remarkable professionalism and care. She quickly connected me with an excellent local dentist who resolved everything within a couple of hours.
My sister and I loved staying at this hotel. The staff were great-Kevin at reception, Maria concierge and Manuel server went above and beyond. The location was excellent. Loved seeing the sea lions and fish in the glass bottom boat. If you want a relaxing stay, with a charming beach vibe, stay at this hotel.
You cannot beat the location. You are just across the street from the King Harbor with boats and many wonderful restaurants and entertainment places just a short walk away.. The staff is so accommodating and friendly. The hotel feels up-to-date and offers great amenities. I highly recommend utilizing the bike rentals.
Getting married at Sonesta Redondo Beach & Marina
Two things make the tour worth the drive. First, see the ceremony spot at the exact time of day you'd say your vows — a west-facing beach glows at sunset but bakes at noon, and you'll want to feel the wind, watch where the sun sits, and walk the path your guests take across the sand. Second, bring your real questions: the weather backup (where does the ceremony move if it rains or the wind kicks up?), who pulls the beach permit, the sound-ordinance curfew, the catering and bar policy, and exactly what's included — chairs, setup, and teardown on sand are where quotes quietly diverge. Peak beach dates book 12–18 months out, so if the tour feels right, ask what's open in your season before you leave.
