We had our wedding at Sound River Studios on 11/3/2018 and we couldn't be happier with it. All night and ever since, we have been hearing about what a special venue it was. Truly, the view and location cannot be beat.
We had our wedding at Sound River Studios last month and it was truly a dream. The view is not to be believed! The space is humongous, and all my guests felt safe during this tumultuous time, which was really important to us. Una and the Sound River team are absolutely wonderful to work with.
My husband and I had a fantastic experience hosting our wedding at Sound River Studios and our ceremony and reception were even more enjoyable than we could have hoped for. Sound River Studio is an amazing venue because of both the physical space itself as well as its great management team led by Una.
We had our wedding at SRS last weekend and it was incredible. The ceremony on the pier was unbelievably scenic. The space was perfect for our 165 person wedding. The staff, especially Una (hired as our planner) were helpful and accommodating to basically everything we asked for leading up to the wedding.
Getting married at Sound River Studios
Two things make the tour worth the drive. First, see the ceremony spot at the exact time of day you'd say your vows — a west-facing beach glows at sunset but bakes at noon, and you'll want to feel the wind, watch where the sun sits, and walk the path your guests take across the sand. Second, bring your real questions: the weather backup (where does the ceremony move if it rains or the wind kicks up?), who pulls the beach permit, the sound-ordinance curfew, the catering and bar policy, and exactly what's included — chairs, setup, and teardown on sand are where quotes quietly diverge. Peak beach dates book 12–18 months out, so if the tour feels right, ask what's open in your season before you leave.
