Went to St. Michaels for our anniversary and decided to say in town. We were going mid-week in October so decided to go without a reservation which worked out. We asked about rooms and the staff was very friendly and welcoming. They looked at a larger room but it turned out that it was not available for our full stay.
Very nice, clean room with plenty of space. Outstanding location, easy to walk or bike into town. (You can borrow bikes from the Inn.) Close to Maritime Museum. Complimentary shuttle of you want to be driven. Staff could not have been nicer. Beautiful views from waterfront rooms. Very nice bar, restaurant, and pool.
No major compliant only small one. The first level room the screen door to the patio needed to be cleaned. It was full of spider webs and dust. Other than that beautiful clean room, beautiful views and loved there was transportation to take you downtown and to pick you up.
Great experience at Harbour Inn. Friendly staff, beautiful room and view, nice docks at the marina. We had dinner at their restaurant on site and food was delicious. Also hung out at the bar for a few drinks which were fantastic. Will definitely be staying at Harbour Inn for our next visit to St. Michaels
Getting married at St. Michaels Harbour Inn, Marina & Spa
Two things make the tour worth the drive. First, see the ceremony spot at the exact time of day you'd say your vows — a west-facing beach glows at sunset but bakes at noon, and you'll want to feel the wind, watch where the sun sits, and walk the path your guests take across the sand. Second, bring your real questions: the weather backup (where does the ceremony move if it rains or the wind kicks up?), who pulls the beach permit, the sound-ordinance curfew, the catering and bar policy, and exactly what's included — chairs, setup, and teardown on sand are where quotes quietly diverge. Peak beach dates book 12–18 months out, so if the tour feels right, ask what's open in your season before you leave.
