My son and I took an impromptu adventure to Hampton Beach and stumbled across Surf House. So glad we did! Stephanie and Alex were amazing! Originally we were scheduled to park a block away (parking is limited in Hampton so this was not to my surprise).
We are loyal customers, have been coming here several times a year for the last few years. The rooms are nice but the reason we book this hotel is the pool, which is stunning. It's a good size, it's got wide steps that are great for our young kids. My kids have been looking forward to swimming in the pool all week.
Great location, easy walk to the beach and the main strip but just removed enough to be nice and quiet at night. Pretty bare bones but the beds are comfortable, shower is great and people who work here are nice. Overall an excellent experience so far.
We just returned home from a weekend at Hampton Beach. The Surf House was a pleasant surprise. Just one short block to the beach and boardwalk. Getting married at Surf House
Two things make the tour worth the drive. First, see the ceremony spot at the exact time of day you'd say your vows — a west-facing beach glows at sunset but bakes at noon, and you'll want to feel the wind, watch where the sun sits, and walk the path your guests take across the sand. Second, bring your real questions: the weather backup (where does the ceremony move if it rains or the wind kicks up?), who pulls the beach permit, the sound-ordinance curfew, the catering and bar policy, and exactly what's included — chairs, setup, and teardown on sand are where quotes quietly diverge. Peak beach dates book 12–18 months out, so if the tour feels right, ask what's open in your season before you leave.
