From the reviews
Love this place, it was our second time back and will continue to come! They do so great too keep everything clean from the rooms to the parking garage area, elevators, etc. all the areas they could just let go- they don’t. They have expectations and it truly shows. Everything just smells clean too!
Rooms are small but nice. Ours had a funny smell. All rooms have a view of the ocean but are not a direct ocean view. All rooms are on the north and south sides of the building. Only the hallway windows directly face the beach. Staff is awesome and the hotel is surrounded by bars and restaurants.
We stayed here for 2 nights for our anniversary and it was a memorable trip. Right on the beach & you could rent chairs and umbrellas. No need to even go anywhere else because you can walk to restaurants. The rooms were clean and amenities were nice. Customer service was top notch - everyone was so nice!
This was a great hotel! We only stayed one night so didn't have the opportunity to experience all the amenities. Room was super clean, spacious and modern. We had a balcony with a partial ocean view. Many restaurants and beach bars within walking distance.
Getting married at Surfside Beach Oceanfront Hotel
Two things make the tour worth the drive. First, see the ceremony spot at the exact time of day you'd say your vows — a west-facing beach glows at sunset but bakes at noon, and you'll want to feel the wind, watch where the sun sits, and walk the path your guests take across the sand. Second, bring your real questions: the weather backup (where does the ceremony move if it rains or the wind kicks up?), who pulls the beach permit, the sound-ordinance curfew, the catering and bar policy, and exactly what's included — chairs, setup, and teardown on sand are where quotes quietly diverge. Peak beach dates book 12–18 months out, so if the tour feels right, ask what's open in your season before you leave.
