Our stay in Hermosa Beach was absolutely perfect—this hotel has the best location in town! You’re just steps from the sand with unbeatable beach access, and everything you need. But the true standout is the rooftop. We rented the rooftop for a private party and it was beyond amazing. The sunset views were unreal.
I’m currently staying at SW Beach Hotel and right off the bat they were so welcoming and kind. The hospitality here is honestly amazing. The service has been great, the amenities are really nice, and everything is super clean, the rooms are beautiful, it even smells really good which I love.
Absolutely amazing experience. Our new place when we visit which we do regularly from AZ. Prior to our visit , upon arrival, during our stay and upon departure very responsive to any questions or needs. Property newly renovated, clean, added touches including soft plush beach towels new beach umbrellas and chairs.
Excellent location just a block from the beach. Right beside the pier. Rooms were clean. The building was safe. Beds are comfortable. I really enjoyed my stay. It could get a little loud at night and in the morning with trucks and deliveries but that wouldn’t keep me from staying there. Great location and price.
Getting married at SW Beach Hotel
Two things make the tour worth the drive. First, see the ceremony spot at the exact time of day you'd say your vows — a west-facing beach glows at sunset but bakes at noon, and you'll want to feel the wind, watch where the sun sits, and walk the path your guests take across the sand. Second, bring your real questions: the weather backup (where does the ceremony move if it rains or the wind kicks up?), who pulls the beach permit, the sound-ordinance curfew, the catering and bar policy, and exactly what's included — chairs, setup, and teardown on sand are where quotes quietly diverge. Peak beach dates book 12–18 months out, so if the tour feels right, ask what's open in your season before you leave.
