From the reviews
Thalatta Estate is truly a dream venue. It is so incredibly beautiful that it requires very little additional décor. My wedding day turned out to be far beyond anything I had ever imagined.
I recently went to my friend's wedding and it was beautiful. Large lot reaching back from Old Cutler Rd. All the way to the water of the bay. It keeps a traditional historic Miami feel. Well kept and is a great location for a special event.
I recently had a wedding at this location and it was beautiful. The estate buildings and landscaping were pristine for the day. I highly recommend having an event here.
Checked out the Thalatta Estate for the first time today. It’s a beautiful piece of history off of Old Cutler Rd. & Biscayne Bay. If you’re ever driving down Old Cutler, stop by and take a little time to walk the grounds... you won’t be disappointed.
Getting married at Thalatta Estate
Two things make the tour worth the drive. First, see the ceremony spot at the exact time of day you'd say your vows — a west-facing beach glows at sunset but bakes at noon, and you'll want to feel the wind, watch where the sun sits, and walk the path your guests take across the sand. Second, bring your real questions: the weather backup (where does the ceremony move if it rains or the wind kicks up?), who pulls the beach permit, the sound-ordinance curfew, the catering and bar policy, and exactly what's included — chairs, setup, and teardown on sand are where quotes quietly diverge. Peak beach dates book 12–18 months out, so if the tour feels right, ask what's open in your season before you leave.
