There are five-star restaurants, and then, there are five-star restaurants. THIS, is a five-star restaurant. From the perfect location, to the stunning, ocean views. Tastefully appointed building exterior and interior.
My husband and I were there on Sunday 9/11 to celebrate my birthday.Every time we are in Rhode Island we always go to Coast Guard House .We love it there , from the beautiful view to the food and service is always excellent!! After beautiful lunch at the outdoor patio in July, returned to the Anchor Room -cozy upstairs room with panoramic ocean view and was not disappointed. Shrimp Bucatini was unforgettable! Cannot wait to go back for more.
Delicious tuna poke and nourishing views of the ocean in the Anchor Room at TCH late yesterday. The staff were so welcoming as warm. Shout out to Lourdes who is always so welcoming 💕
Getting married at The Anchor Room At The Coast Guard House
Two things make the tour worth the drive. First, see the ceremony spot at the exact time of day you'd say your vows — a west-facing beach glows at sunset but bakes at noon, and you'll want to feel the wind, watch where the sun sits, and walk the path your guests take across the sand. Second, bring your real questions: the weather backup (where does the ceremony move if it rains or the wind kicks up?), who pulls the beach permit, the sound-ordinance curfew, the catering and bar policy, and exactly what's included — chairs, setup, and teardown on sand are where quotes quietly diverge. Peak beach dates book 12–18 months out, so if the tour feels right, ask what's open in your season before you leave.
